Lenoir Community College engages in ongoing, comprehensive, and integrated research-based planning and evaluation processes that focus on institutional quality and effectiveness and incorporate a systematic review of institutional goals and outcomes consistent with its mission. All areas of the College are engaged in the review of learning, service, or administrative outcomes, and those outcomes are used to support the larger strategic plan of the institution. On a five-year rotating basis, program areas also engage in a larger-scale program review for a more in-depth examination of the employees, facilities, equipment, and long-term needs of the unit.
