Emergency Medical Science Bridging, AAS –EMS Paramedic Health Sciences AHSP
The Emergency Medical Science Bridging program was developed to allow currently certified, non-degree Paramedics to earn a two-year Associate of Applied Science Degree in Emergency Medical Science. A total of 45 transfer hours will be awarded to certified EMT-Paramedics. Admission requirements must be met prior to matriculation. Students who did not obtain their Paramedic certification through LCC’s Continuing Education/Workforce Development Division must complete at least 25% of their coursework through Lenoir Community College.

An articulation agreement is in place between LCC and Western Carolina University’s Emergency Medical Care Bachelor of Science program. This program can be completed through online learning once students complete the Emergency Medical Science, AAS program at Lenoir Community College.
