The Senator Jim Perry Aviation Center for Excellence at the NC Global TransPark is a premier training destination designed to inspire and prepare the next generation of aviation professionals. This innovative facility combines hands on technical training, flight instruction, and modern learning environments to provide students with a comprehensive educational experience. The center features eight classrooms, 11 maintenance laboratories, a 13,268 square foot aircraft hangar, advanced flight simulators including two Redbird full motion simulators and additional flight training devices, as well as conference rooms, study areas, offices, workrooms, and welcoming student gathering spaces. With cutting edge technology and industry focused resources, the Aviation Center for Excellence equips students with the knowledge, skills, and experience needed to launch successful careers in aviation.
