Aviation Center for Excellence
Construction is underway on the Senator Jim Perry Aviation Center for Excellence (ACE) at the NC Global TransPark. This 57,024-square-foot training facility will feature cutting-edge technology, classrooms, maintenance labs, and a 13,268-square-foot heated aircraft hangar. ACE will offer degree programs in Aviation Management & Career Pilot Technology and Aviation Systems Technology, as well as short-term training. It will be a hub for hands-on learning and career preparation in the aviation industry. Coursework in Aviation, Industrial Systems Technology, and other advanced manufacturing subjects are currently being taught at the Aerospace and Advanced Manufacturing Center (AAMC) located at 3800 Hwy 58 N in Kinston, NC.
