Jones County Center

Lenoir Community College in Jones County is committed to providing programs and activities to enhance social, cultural, economic, and leadership growth, as well as enhance the quality of life of the citizens, the community, and the state. The Jones County Center is committed to offering various programs and services in curriculum and continuing education. The College is one of three institutions in the North Carolina Community College System that offers Gunsmithing, a two-year associate degree program. The program is offered at the Jones County Center. Agriculture, being an integral part of Jones County, makes the Center the ideal location for Sustainable Agriculture, a two-year associate degree program.

Adult Basic Education and High School Equivalency Diploma courses are offered throughout Jones County at various locations, including the Jones County Center, Jones County Senior Services, Maysville Public Library, Pollocksville Filling Station, and Online. English as a Second Language (ESL) classes are offered at the Jones County Center. Continuing Education credits for EMS personnel and Fire Department volunteers are offered several times each month at various locations throughout the county. A variety of continuing education classes are always available. The Center is proud of its partnership with the Jones Senior High School Career and College Promise Program for high school students.
