LCC graphics students win top collegiate award

Two students in the Graphic Arts & Imaging Technology (GAIT) program at LCC were recently awarded top honors in this year’s student competition for printing and graphics. Jillian Wilson of Kinston and Harley Hancock of La Grange won the top collegiate award for their digital printing and package design of a “ASPCA” pop-box mailer.

Little did Ian Webb of Beulaville know that when he started at Lenoir Community College he would end up with a full-time employment opportunity before he graduated. Webb enrolled in the Industrial Systems Program in the spring of 2019. He finished his major coursework and started working at MasterBrand to fulfill his Work-Based Learning (WBL)

LCC graduate selected for Governor Bob Scott Leadership Award

Lenoir Community College graduate Hannah Moody of Richlands has been selected the College’s 2020 Governor Robert W. Scott Leadership Award recipient. In 2004, the North Carolina Association of Community College Presidents created the Governor Robert Scott Leadership Award as a way to recognize student leadership on a statewide level while also honoring the former Governor.
