General Disclosure
Certain Lenoir Community College (LCC) academic programs prepare students to sit for applicable licensure and/or certification examinations in North Carolina. In order to comply with U.S. Department of Education regulations regarding online learning and professional licensure, LCC is required to make the following disclosure with respect to professional licensure or certification outside the state of North Carolina.
Students should contact the respective department at the College to discuss program enrollment and professional licensure options. The following includes contact information for LCC programs that can lead to licensure.

Students may view the disclosure for each program or certificate to know which state Lenoir Community College curriculum:
- Meets state education requirements for licensure or certification, or
- Does not meet state educational requirements for licensure or certification
For programs that lead to state licensure, state licensing board contact information is provided, by state, within each program’s expandable content section. For programs that prepare graduates to earn a national credential issued by a non-licensing organization, information for the credentialing organization is provided in the top left corner of each disclosure document.
