ABC Board Awards LCC
The Lenoir County ABC Board recently presented a check of $19,987.33 to Lenoir Community College to assist in alcohol and drug awareness programs at the College.

LENOIR COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) - As many universities and community colleges try to navigate the world of online classes during the pandemic, one local community college is embracing new technology for students to feel more connected to their courses.
Free community college courses available to high school students through Career and College Promise
Free online classes are available to area high school students this fall at Lenoir Community College through the innovative Career & College Promise (CCP) dual enrollment program. According to the North Carolina Community College System (NCCCS), about 59,000 high school students across the state took CCP courses, saving them time and money toward a college
LCC’s Cars for College presents new car to its first recipient
It’s not every day that a person can be in the right place at the right time, but for Devan Shackleford of Kinston that’s where he found himself recently. Shackleford becomes the first recipient of a vehicle awarded through the Lenoir Community College Cars for College program.
LCC pinning ceremonies held
Lenoir Community College Health Sciences Department recently held its pinning ceremony for Medical Assisting, Polysomnography, Radiography, Practical Nursing, Surgical Technology, and Associate Degree Nursing graduates.
LCC Receives SECU Scholarship Funds
Lenoir Community College was recently awarded $15,000 from SECU Bridge to Career Scholarship Program for scholarships for the upcoming year.
