LCC Announces Spring Registration for State-of-the-Art-Facility
The Lenoir Community College Aerospace & Advanced Manufacturing Center, located at 3800 NC Hwy 58 in Kinston, offers classes in Computer Engineering Technology, Computer Integrated Machining, Industrial Systems Technology, and Mechanical Engineering Technology. The state-of-the-art facility reopened in the fall and was previously used for Spirit training.
Green Lights for Veterans
Lenoir Community College showed their support for veterans on Wednesday by lighting the main building green, illuminating campus for the rest of November. Organizers held a small ceremony at 3 p.m. thanking veterans and handed out green lightbulbs to the community for residents to put in their homes.
Texas Rangers Hold Baseball Camp at LCC
The Texas Rangers, a major league baseball team in the American League West division, is holding a professional baseball skills elite hitting camp at Lenoir Community College. The Elite Camp schedule includes 75 minutes of advanced instruction with both morning and afternoon sessions, two hours at hitting stations in the morning and the afternoon. There

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has selected Lenoir Community College’s Aviation Management and Career Pilot Technology program for the Unmanned Aircraft Systems-Collegiate Training Initiative program or the UAS-CTI.
LCC Industrial Systems student started college career when in high school
South Lenoir High School graduate Ethan Mullins of Kinston wasn’t sure what he wanted to do after high school until his junior year when his high school started its machining program in collaboration with Lenoir Community College.
LCC graphics students win top collegiate award
Two students in the Graphic Arts & Imaging Technology (GAIT) program at LCC were recently awarded top honors in this year’s student competition for printing and graphics. Jillian Wilson of Kinston and Harley Hancock of La Grange won the top collegiate award for their digital printing and package design of a “ASPCA” pop-box mailer.
LCC receives $855,000 to fund short-term training classes leading to job
