The recent Lenoir Community College Foundation Golf Classic has a special meaning for Ralph Peterson of Raleigh. He and his sons have played in the tournament since 2012 in memory of Ralph’s father, Guy Peterson, an icon at LCC for many years. This year was no different. Lenoir Community College recently was awarded a $10,000 grant through the Dollar General Literacy Foundation to support LCC and the Greene County Family Literacy Program for the 2020-2021 school year. The amount of the grant is the maximum allocation for the category.
