LCC falls to Pitt CC Wednesday on Pink Night
A tightly contested contest throughout didn’t go in favor of Lenoir Community College Wednesday. The Lancers fell to Pitt CC 26-24, 20-25, 26-28, 25-20 in a wild affair on Pink Night. The first three sets featured a combined 38 ties and 16 lead changes and while LCC (9-16) took an early advantage, it wasn’t enough.

LCC falls to Fayetteville Tech Wednesday
LCC broke a long skid Saturday, but couldn’t keep the momentum going Wednesday. Fayetteville Tech came to Kinston and picked up a 25-22, 25-5, 25-13 win to complete the season sweep. The Trojans (13-2) defeated the Lancers 22-25, 25-9, 25-20, 25-14 Sept. 7 in Fayetteville and survived an early scare before dominating from there.
LCC falls to Louisburg in five sets Wednesday
Two sets into Wednesday’s match, and Lenoir Community College looked primed to break a long losing streak. Three sets later, it continued as Louisburg rallied to win 21-25, 23-25, 25-20, 28-26, 15-11.

LCC splits Tri-Match games; defeats USC-Sumter, falls to Bryant and Stratton
It was a combination of good and bad for Lenoir Community College’s volleyball team Saturday. The Lancers defeated USC-Sumter 25-19, 25-23, 25-15 before falling to Bryant and Stratton 16-25, 25-23, 11-25, 12-25 Saturday in a Tri-Match. LCC is now 6-4 on the season heading into a three-game week.
Plans under way for LCC’s second annual high school volleyball tourney in memory of Jessica Ramsey
Eight local high schools will compete at the second annual Lenoir Community College high school volleyball tournament in memory of Jessica Ramsey. Games will start at 9 a.m. August 14 on the Coach Bobby Dawson Court in the LCC Student Center.
