Lenoir Community College debuts women’s soccer team Saturday
It took another two weeks, but Lenoir Community College debuted women’s soccer Saturday. The Lancers took on Louisburg at Barnet Park, kicking off its inaugural season. The initial start was Sept. 3 against Cape Fear, but the Sea Devils were unable to make it due to transportation issues.
Lenoir Community College goes on the road, defeats Pitt Community College in rivalry game
WINTERVILLE — Rivalry games can certainly be unpredictable. Lenoir Community College proved it with a 21-25, 25-23, 25-20, 25-19 win over Pitt Community College Wednesday. The Lancers (3-7) hadn’t beaten the Bulldogs (6-3) since 2018 but looked comfortable on the road in victory.
