La Grange Center
Lenoir Community College’s La Grange Center is committed to the intellectual, economic, social, and cultural development of La Grange and the surrounding areas. Striving to be the educational institution of choice for a diverse community, the La Grange Center offers a variety of services and programs throughout the year, including Nurse Aide I and II, Pharmacy Technician, Medical Coding and Billing, Adult High School Diploma, English as a Second Language (ESL), and EMS classes. Various other extension, high school equivalency (formerly GED®), and healthcare occupation certification programs are offered throughout the year, as well as personal enrichment classes.
Housed in the historic Margaret Blount Harvey Building, which was renovated in 2011, the La Grange Center is located at 112 East Railroad Street in the heart of downtown La Grange. This state-of-the-art educational facility has five classrooms, two computer labs, a conference room, an administrative office, and one room specifically set up and approved for health-related occupations training. The Center is staffed with a director, an instructional assistant, two evening assistants and several part-time instructors.
