Lenoir Community College hosted a pop-up block party Wednesday at Lovit Hines Community Center on King Street to announce their educational partnership with the Kinston-Lenoir County Parks and Recreation Department.
A 2008 North Lenoir High School graduate, Kaitlyn Langston of Kinston was deciding what her next educational move would be. She discovered that she could take Lenoir Community College classes while attending high school, which led her to taking machining classes.
As for his own experience at casinos, Hanks has been to Las Vegas a few times and claims he is an outstanding bluffer. “My face is like granite, so I don’t have a tell!”
The Lenoir Community College Automotive class recently toured Jennings Transmission Company of Goldsboro and utilized the company’s transmission dynamometer.
Lenoir Community College will offer the upcoming Workforce Development HRD classes to aid unemployed or underemployed persons.
