Lenoir Community College picked the right opponent to snap a skid to. The Lancers picked up a 77-67 win over Pitt Community College Wednesday, not only snapping a six-game losing streak but also picking up the first win over the Bulldogs in the Chris Brown era.

Many recent high school graduate students in Kinston can go to community college for free with the Longleaf Commitment Grants. The Longleaf Commitment Grant, which had previously been held only for 2021 high school graduates, has now opened up to 2020 high school graduates.
