Lenoir Community College visual arts students Nigel Williams of Kinston and Chandon Williams of Snow Hill share more in common than their names and a visual arts degree. They both are graduating within a few months of each other, and both are pursuing their dream of creating amazing art.
Lenoir Community College’s new women’s soccer team will have South Lenoir representation. The Blue Devils’ Laikyn Whaley had her signing ceremony Thursday, committing to the Lancers’ inaugural squad next season. Whaley has helped shore South Lenoir’s defense over the past three seasons, which has included seven shutouts.
Lenoir Community College will hold a Disaster Preparedness Event from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 29 in and near the Health Sciences Building on campus.

The family of Donald “Donnie” Civils, Jr. has established a scholarship at Lenoir Community College through its Foundation in memory of him. The Donald “Donnie” Civils, Jr. Memorial Scholarship was established to help a GED graduate transition to a curriculum program of study.
