Lenoir Community College Student Government Association President Kaley Smith of Farmville has been named the Governor Robert Scott Leadership Award recipient, one of the Great 58 in the North Carolina Community College System.

Union Bank of Kinston is the Putting Contest Sponsor of this year’s Lenoir Community College Golf Classic on Thursday, May 12, at the Kinston Country Club. This event has raised more than $600,000 toward student scholarships at LCC since its inception, and Union Bank has been a consistent supporter for the past several years.
Graduating from Lenoir Community College was definitely a family affair when April Casey of Kinston, her two daughters, and her nephew walked across the stage for the High School Equivalency Certificate during the Transitional and Career Studies Graduation Wednesday in the Briley Auditorium.
Lenoir Community College Health Sciences and Nursing Department recently held its pinning ceremony for Electroneurodiagnostic Technology, Medical Assisting, Polysomnography, Radiography, and Associate Degree Nursing graduates.
