What seemed like one roadblock after another, Shawn Cooper of Kinston was determined to complete his educational goals at Lenoir Community College. He just needed a little motivation to stay on track.
SECU Foundation introduced the SECU Bridge to Career Program in 2018 to help students seeking to obtain careers with sustainable wages in their local communities. Administered by each college, the initiative focuses on assisting individuals with finding vocational and job placement opportunities through eligible training programs that lead to state-regulated or industry-recognized credentials.

Lenoir Community College Practical Nursing student Andrea Diggs of Kinston received the Gail B. Reynolds Scholarship through the LCC Foundation. The scholarship was established in memory of Gail B. Reynolds by her husband, Robert Reynolds.

LCC Volleyball vs Richard Bland College Highlights - Sept 20
It took another two weeks, but Lenoir Community College debuted women’s soccer Saturday. The Lancers took on Louisburg at Barnet Park, kicking off its inaugural season. The initial start was Sept. 3 against Cape Fear, but the Sea Devils were unable to make it due to transportation issues.
