First National Bank of Kinston is the Putting Contest Sponsor of this year’s 22nd annual Lenoir Community College Golf Classic on Thursday, May 18, at the Kinston Country Club. This event has raised more than $600,000 toward student scholarships at LCC since its inception.

Garrett Jenkins of Trenton came to Lenoir Community College (LCC) with plans to attain his High School Equivalency Diploma. With the help of his dedicated teacher, Fred Seymour, and some nudging encouraging words from his Career Advisor Tracey Price, he attained this goal in July 2021.
The Lenoir Community College Lancers split a doubleheader with the Pitt Community College Bulldogs. Despite falling short in a ninth-inning rally in Game 1, the Lancers bounced back to win Game 2, taking the season series against the Bulldogs 3-2 and maintaining their first-place position in the Division II East standings.
