Submitting Transcripts
Follow the steps below to submit your transcript. If you need to get a copy
of your LCC transcript from us, visit our Requesting Transcripts page.
Submit Transcripts (If Required)
- If you have recently graduated from a North Carolina public school and have your high school Student ID Number, you can request your transcript electronically through CFNC free of charge.
- We will accept transcripts electronically if sent directly from a school official using a school email address to regoffice@lenoircc.edu. We will not accept transcripts forwarded from personal accounts.
- Some high schools also use third-party services such as Parchment or Scribbles.
- Transcripts delivered in person must be in the original, sealed envelope.
- You can also have your transcripts sent by regular mail to:

- Vist your college’s website to request transcripts.
- Many colleges request you use a third-party service such as Parchment or National Student Clearinghouse to request transcripts.
- Some colleges will send transcripts electronically; please have these transcripts sent to regoffice@lenoircc.edu. (Note: Transcripts forwarded from personal accounts will be considered unofficial.)
- Transcripts delivered in person must be in the original, sealed envelope.

We understand that homeschool transcripts may vary in format by school, county, and state. However, homeschool transcripts should be typed and include the following:
- An official GPA
- An official graduation date (not expected or anticipated)
- An official signature
If you attended a homeschool in North Carolina, please provide a typed copy of the transcript for the homeschool. You may access that record by visiting the NC Department of Administration website.
- We will accept typed homeschool transcripts sent electronically to regoffice@lenoircc.edu.
- Transcripts delivered in person must be typed and in the original, sealed envelope.

To receive college credit for CLEP or AP tests, you must request that your official CLEP or AP score reports be sent directly from College Board.
CLEP (College-Level Examination Program)
- CLEP scores from exams taken on/after July 1, 2022 remain available for 10 years; scores from exams taken on/before June 30, 2022 remain available for 20 years.
- You can send your scores to two institutions for free when you register for your CLEP exam. Additional transcripts must be ordered through the My CLEP portal ($20 per transcript). Order CLEP Transcript.
- Military test takers with DANTES-funded exams must order transcripts through the Parchment Transcript Ordering Service (fee required). Order Military/DANTES through Parchment Transcript Service.
- Most scores are posted to your CLEP account within 24 hours (some written exams take 2–3 weeks). LCC requires an official transcript to award credit.
AP (Advanced Placement)
- Sign in to the AP Scores website with your College Board account to send scores.
- AP score reports include all AP scores (current and past).

Transcripts from institutions outside the United States must be evaluated and translated (if applicable) by a current member of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Service (NACES). Completed evaluations, along with copies of the original transcript(s), may be sent to regoffice@lenoircc.edu.
The NACES service must send their official translation/evaluation directly to Lenoir Community College. If the transcript translation/evaluation is mailed to the student, it must be submitted to Lenoir Community College in its original, sealed, unopened envelope.
