   Health Care Unit Coordinator Courses
  • Must have a High School Diploma or High School Equivalency

   Medical Coding & Billing Courses
  • Must have a High School Diploma or High School Equivalency

   Medication Aide/Adult Care Setting
  • No requirement for high school diploma/GED (High School Equivalency)

   Medication Aide Long Term Care/Skilled Nursing Facility
  • High School Diploma/GED (High School Equivalency) Validated at the time of training

   Medication Aide RN Instructor
  • Must have a current, unrestricted license to practice as a registered nurse in North Carolina or have multistate licensure privilege
  • Must have had at least two years of practice experience as a registered nurse that includes medication administration

   Nurse Aide I Courses
  • Must submit copies of a picture ID and a social security card
  • Must submit a copy of High School Diploma or High School Equivalency (placement test results)
  • Must submit proof of immunization
  • Must submit a copy of TB skin test results to the instructor before going to clinical

   Nurse Aide II Courses
  • Earn Nurse Aide I credentials from an accredited program

   Nurse Aide Refresher
  • Training option to enrollees who have been or are currently listed on the Nurse Aide I Registry or hold a state recognized health care credential from any state. Military personnel who have had medical/corpsman training may also enroll.
