The Esthetics Program needs patrons to practice their skills. Clients are accepted by appointment only by calling Cheyenne Montford at 252-527-6223, ext. 127.

Esthetics Service Fees


   Esthetics Course
  • This course is designed to develop the fundamentals of esthetics concepts. Topics include skin care history, sanitation and disinfection, anatomy and physiology, chemistry, histology of the skin, and skin disorders and diseases. Students must complete two sessions to meet the minimum requirement of 600 hours to prove readiness for the North Carolina State Board.
  • Instructor Cheyenne Montford has been teaching Esthetics at Lenoir Community College since 2010. She is the owner/operator of the Skin Therapy Center in Greenville, North Carolina. With more than 16 years of experience as an Esthetician and eight years of instructor experience, Mrs. Montford has a wealth of knowledge and experience in the field of Esthetics.
  • Cosmetology Student ID (Available at the LCC Bookstore for $8)
  • Mannequin Head ($12–$15)
  • Bath Towel Wrap
  • Uniform
  • Solid Teal Scrubs
  • No knit tops or pants, leggings, or spandex.
  • Pant length must be long enough to cover the heel of the shoe, but should not drag the floor.
  • Solid White Shoes
  • Shoes must be enclosed. Tops of feet cannot be exposed.
  • No colors or stripes are allowed on shoes or soles.
  • No clogs, boots, or Crocs.
  • Solid White Socks
  • Student ID
  • Must be worn on uniform, not coat.
  • Must be worn at all times while on school property.
  • Other
  • White lab coats can be worn on the floor.
  • No colored articles of clothing can be worn on the floor including jackets and sweaters.
  • No hats, head coverings, scarves, toboggan, or headbands are allowed.
  • One necklace (silver or gold and no longer than collar of the uniform) can be worn.
  • No bracelets are allowed.
  • Only one ring per hand allowed.
  • If you have facial piercings, you must wear clear retainers (nose, tongue, eye, lip, chin, and ear).
  • No colored articles of clothing can be worn on the floor including jackets and sweaters.
  • Studs are only allowed for ear piercings (no hoops)
  • No headphones, iPods, sunglasses, or Bluetooth equipment is allowed.
  • Fingernails must be kept at a short, professional length.
