Admission Requirements
Generally, a high school diploma or its equivalency is required for technical and transfer programs at LCC. The placement assessment and high school transcript or High School Equivalency Diploma are required.

Those who have not completed high school may earn a High School Equivalency Diploma or an Adult High School diploma (AHS) at LCC through the Basic Skills – Continuing Education Unit. For more information, call 252-527-6223, ext. 702 or 729.

Students without a High School Equivalency Diploma or High School Diploma are only eligible for the skills certificate programs.

Transfer to Elizabeth City State University
Elizabeth City State University (ECSU) and LCC have agreed to provide educational opportunities for students at LCC who wish to transfer to ECSU. This Articulation Agreement in Professional Aeronautics between Elizabeth City State University and LCC is designed to facilitate the transfer of students from LCC to ECSU. The Articulation Agreement should be used by students who are intending to make the transfer under these programs and by the faculty, advisors, counselors, and others who might be advising those students.
