Program Effectiveness Data:
LCC Radiography Program

Program Effectiveness Data
The performance of the program is reflected through program effectiveness data as defined by:
The Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT)
20 N. Wacker Drive, Suite 2850
Chicago, IL 60606-3182, (312-704-5300)
mail@jrcert.org
www.jrcert.org

Program effectiveness data includes the program completion rate, credentialing examination pass rate and job placement rate. Explanations of these measures and program data that correspond with the annual report most recently submitted to the JRCERT are noted below. This information can also be obtained at:

JRCERT Web Program Effectiveness Report

Questions about program effectiveness data should be directed to the Program Chair.

Credentialing Examination Pass Rate
Credentialing Examination Pass Rate is the number of graduates that pass the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification examination on the first attempt within six months of graduation.

Year of Evaluation Students Taking Exam Passed Exam First Attempt Percentage Pass Rate
2014 4 4 100%
2015 6 5 83%
2016 6 5 83%
2017 4 4 100%
2018 6 6 100%
 Raw Data Calculation  92.30%

Job Placement Rate – Graduate Survey
Job placement rate is defined as the number of graduates employed in the radiologic sciences compared to the number of graduates actively seeking employment in the radiologic sciences. The JRCERT has defined not actively seeking employment as: 1) graduate fails to communicate with program officials regarding employment status after multiple attempts, 2) graduate is unwilling to seek employment that requires relocation, 3) graduate is unwilling to accept employment due to salary or hours, 4) graduate is on active military duty, and/or 5) graduate is continuing education.

Graduation Year Job Placement Data
2014 100% 2 of 4 graduates were employed within 12 months
2 not actively seeking employment, continuing their education
2015 100% 5 of 6 graduates were employed within 12 months
1 not actively seeking employment, continuing their education
2016 100% 6 of 6 graduates were employed within 12 months
2017 100% 2 of 5 graduates were employed within 12 months
1 not actively seeking employment, continuing their education
2 not actively seeking employment
2018 100% 5 of the 6 graduates were employed within 12 months
1 not actively seeking employment, continuing their education.
Five Year Average 100%

Program Completion Rate
Program completion rate is defined as the number of students who complete the program within 150% of the stated program length. Program completion rate is calculated by dividing the number of students who complete the program within a cohort by the number who enrolled in the cohort (initially, transfer students, and re-admits). Students who leave the program for any reason are considered non-completers.

Cohort Completion Rate Number of Students
2013 – 2015 66% 11 entered (2 readmit – graduated)
6 graduated + 2 readmit who graduated 2016
3 did not progress academically
2 voluntarily withdrew for personal reasons
2014 – 2016 44% 12 entered (3 readmit – 2 graduated)
6 graduated – 2 readmits
3 did not progress academically
3 voluntarily withdrew for personal reasons
2015 – 2017 45% 11 entered
5 graduated
3 did not progress academically
2 voluntarily withdrew for personal reasons
1 dismissal
2016 – 2018 60% 10 entered

4 voluntarily withdrew for personal reasons
2017 – 2019 54% 11 entered
