Procedures to Access NC LIVE @ Home:
If you are a student currently enrolled and would like to receive access to NC LIVE
at home, please follow these directions: |
1. Let the librarian at the circulation desk know that you want sign up for NC LIVE remote access for the current semester.
2.
You must show the librarian your current class schedule and LCC ID card.
3.
The librarian will provide you a with a sign-up sheet ru a with a sign-up sheet regarding NCLIVE
remote access.
4.
Read the confidentiality statement.
5.
If you agree to follow the statement, sign your name and check the box next to your.signature.
6. Follow the directions at the bottom of sheet on which you signed your name.
(The password cannot be made available through a public forum - stipulated in vendor contracts.) |

Your Computer: Processor - Intel 486, Pentium (or equivalent)
or Macintosh 68020 or >
Your Computer: Operating System - .Windows 95, 98 or NT OR MacOS 7.5 or higher
Your Computer: RAM - At least 16 MB
Your Computer: Hard Disk - At least 5 MB available
Your Computer: Netscape Navigator 4.0 or higher OR Internet Explorer 4.0 or higher
Your Computer: JavaScript - Must be enabled.
Your Computer: Cookies - Accept all cookies
Your Computer: Password - Assigned by Learning Resources Center . |
Access to Internet: Contract with Internet Service Provider (ISP), telephone line, at least 28.8 kps modem |
