Identification Cards
An
identification card with photo is issued free of charge for each
user's personal and exclusive use. This
card must be presented
each time books or other materials are checked out or renewed.
Library cards are issued only to LCC students, faculty and
staff
and are validated each semester. Only one card is issued
free; a fee
will be assessed for replacements.
Locating
Books and Materials
The
Highland Library System is an
online catalog for searching and
locating materials quickly and easily. The Library of Congress
classification system is used for classifying books. The code
on the book spine means the books are arranged alphabetically
and numerically within the alphabet.
