Down East's Outstanding Teen Mary Elizabeth Warren and Eastern Carolina's Outstanding Teen Olivia Izze, Eastern Carolina's Outstanding Teen recently attended the Miss North Carolina work weekend in Raleigh. Both girls are representatives to the Outstanding Teen Pageant which will be held during the week of June 19-23. Lenoir Community College is the sponsor of both preliminary titles.

Miss Eastern Carolina Clare Winslow and her Carolina Princess Taylor Whaley recently attended the Miss North Carolina work weekend in Raleigh. Winslow, sponsored by Lenoir Community College will compete for the title of Miss North Carolina on June 23 in Raleigh. Whaley will be an active participant the whole week of competition.
