New Faculty Members Join LCC Ernie White and Slade Chatman have joined the faculty at Lenoir Community College. “We are very excited to have Slade and Ernie as part of our faculty,” said Gary Clements, Director of Industry and Public Service and Automotive Systems Technology Program Head.

Chatman is a graduate of the Automotive Systems Technology program at LCC. He has been hired as a part-time instructor for the Automotive Systems Technology day program. He was a displaced worker who participated in the Workforce Investment Act program to complete his degree. He has a love for automobiles and drag races as a hobby. White came to LCC January 2005 as full time Program Head for the Industrial Engineering Technology and Industrial Management Technology programs with more than 25 years of industry experience. He received his associate in applied science degree in Electronics Engineering Technology from LCC. He earned his bachelor of science degree in Management and Organizational Development from Mount Olive College and his masters degree in Business Administration from Central Michigan University.
