BLET Scholarship Awarded

Deputy Ryan Dawson, recent Basic Law Enforcement Training graduate and class president, was the recipient of the first Basic Law Enforcement Training (BLET) scholarship. This scholarship was created honoring the law enforcement profession and in memory of Deputy Ernest "Ernie" Martin Hull, a LCC graduate who was killed in the line of duty on Jan. 2, 2000. The scholarship was created with donations from Walnut Creek Police Chief Delisa M. Corbett and the Wayne County Fraternal Order of Police.
