LCC Human Services Club Sponsors an Easter Egg Hunt For The Children of Greene Lamp

The Human Services Club at Lenoir Community College joined with the Greene Lamp, Inc. Head Start to sponsor an Easter egg hunt for the 52 children at the Greene Lamp campus on Lenoir Community College.
The club members hide eggs throughout the playground and monitored as the children were busy finding eggs left by the Easter bunny. The club had worked hard to ensure that all the children found at least one egg. The children were also given indivdvual party bags so that no child was left out.

The Easter bunny was on hand to cheer the children on. Three of the eggs had special prizes for the lucky children who found them. Each one of the children was given a stuffed animal. "This one caught me by surprise, " said Human Services Program head. "The students organized the entire project on their own and all I had to do was show-up. They truly take their community service and duty very seriously."
