DAC Honor LCC History Students

The Queen Anne Chapter Daugters of the American Colonists recently honored two outstanding Lenoir Community College American History students, Jason Newbold and Ashley Hawkins. The organization promotes patriotism and education with an interest in historical research of the Deeds of the American Colonists.

Pictured left to right are: LCC History faculty Beth Hodges, LCC President Dr. Steve Scott, Ashley Hawkins, LCC History faculty Ken Tyndall, Regent of Queen Anne Chapter DAC Marguerite Whitley, LCC Director of Learning Resources Center Stephen Hawkins, Jason Newbold, Vice Regent of Queen Anne Chapter DAC Annette MacRae, and LCC Dean of Arts and Sciences Mickie Braswell. Upon graduation, Hawkins and Newbold both plan to attend North Carolina State University.
