WACHOVIA SUPPORTS LCC - Wachovia Bank recently contributed to its endowed scholarship program at Lenoir Community College.

VFW PRESENTS BOOKS - Jimmie Jones, Commander of VFW Kinston Post No. 2771, right, presented books, War Letters, to Lenoir Community College Learning Resources Center.

LCC President Dr. Steve Scott accepted the gift on behalf of the college. The collection of letters are from service men to their loved ones from the Confederate War up to Desert Storm.

Jones said the VFW presented this collection to Lenoir County high schools and LCC in an effort to better educate students on what service men and women experience during war times.
