| PLACEMENT ASSESSMENT |
The Accuplacer, a college placement test, provides information about your level
of skill in reading comprehension, sentence skills, arithmetic, and algebra.
Scores do not determine acceptance to the college, but are used to help determine
your placement in appropriate courses. Review booklets to prepare for the Accuplacer
may be purchased from the Learning Resources Center.
The Accuplacer is an Internet-based test that can be administered in a proctored
situation anywhere. For more information contact Beth Spence, Director of Admissions/Enrollment Management at 252-527-6223, x 309 or email bspence@lenoircc.edu for additional information or questions.
The placement assessment may be waived with appropriate courses in reading,
English, math, or algebra completed at another college. Compass and Asset scores
presented from other colleges will also be accepted for admission. The Admissions
Office will need a faxed transcript from previous colleges. |
