Most self-taught riders are unaware of the skills needed to minimize chances of accidents or injuries.
Successful completion will exempt you from the riding portion of the DMV Endorsement test.
Many insurance companies offer premium discounts for successful graduates of this course.

- Motorcycles, helmets, & training manuals are provided for the BRC course.

A motorcycle endorsement or permit is not required for the BRC course.
- No prior motorcycle experience is needed for the BRC course. However, students must be
..able to ride & balance a bicycle prior to taking this course.
- All exercises are conducted on a protected range.
- Students must wear an approved helmet, long sleeve shirt or jacket, long pants, boots or
..shoes that cover the ankle, full-fingered gloves, and protective eyewear (glasses or face shield). |
It is extremely important to be on time for each session as the instruction “builds” and cannot be repeated. Late arrivals will not be permitted to join the class/ or make up the missed information at a later time. Registration fees are NON-REFUNDABLE for late arrivals, students who are asked to withdraw from the class or chose to withdraw from the class for any reason.
In addition it may be necessary to dress for inclement weather. As a general rule, rain will not delay or cancel riding instructions. This course is a demanding physical activity, particularly in the summer.
Directions: We are located on Hwy 70 between Goldsboro and New Bern. The Bullock Building is the closest building to Hwy 70. The Bullock Building is also known as Building 1. Enter the college from the Hwy 70 entrance NOT the Hwy 58 entrance.
From New Bern you will take 70 W and as you enter Kinston the college is on your left.
From Goldsboro you will take 70 E and right after you pass the Hwy 70/Hwy 258 Intersection, we are 1 mile on the right hand side. Always stay straight on 70, don’t take 70 Business.
From Greenville take Hwy 11 towards Kinston. When you get to Kinston, you will stay on Hwy 11 until you get to Hwy 258. Take 258 towards Jacksonville (left turn) The next intersection is Hwy 258/Hwy 70. Turn left on 70 going E. We are 1 mile on the right hand side. From Jacksonville take Hwy 258 N until you get to the intersection of Hwy258/Hwy 70. Take a right at the intersection and the college is 1 mile on the right hand side. Enter the college from the 70 entrance NOT the Hwy 58 entrance. |
