The LCC-Jones County Book Lovers Group will be meeting Wednesday, June 18 at noon to discuss the book “Chosen by a Horse” by Susan Richards.
Copies of this book are still available to borrow from the college.
The Book Lovers Group is free and open to the public for anyone who loves to read and discuss current or classic books. A door prize will be held with LCC items to be given away and refreshments served.
The winner of the door prize at the May meeting was Angela White, pictured left.
Upcoming books selected to read for future meetings are “The No. 1 Ladies’ Detective Agency” by Alexander McCall Smith, “Water for Elephants” by Sara Gruen, “The Color Purple” by Alice Walker, and “The Color of Water” by James McBride.
