The LCC-Jones County Book Lovers Group will be meeting Wednesday, July 16 at noon to discuss the book “The No. 1 Ladies' Detective Agency ” by Alexander McCall Smith.
Copies of this book are still available to borrow from the college.
The Book Lovers Group is free and open to the public for anyone who loves to read and discuss current or classic books. A door prize will be held with LCC items to be given away and refreshments served.
Upcoming books selected to read for future meetings are “Water for Elephants” by Sara Gruen, “The Color Purple” by Alice Walker, and “The Color of Water” by James McBride.
