| Yes. A student under the age of 18 may enroll if the Superintendent approves the release. The legal guardian also must approve the minor release. A withdrawal form from the school and a sealed transcript are also required. |

| The placement test is a measure of academic grade level. It is used to determine the best class placement for the student. |

| What is the difference between an Adult High School (AHS) Diploma and a General Education Development (GED) Diploma? |
The Adult High School (AHS) Diploma and a General Education Development (GED) Diploma carry the same weight. The AHS Diploma is given in conjunction with Lenoir County Public Schools. Receiving this diploma
is the same as graduating from high school. A GED Diploma is similar to the AHS Diploma and is accepted nationwide. |
