CAMPUS FACILITIES The 87-acre Lenoir Community College campus lies approximately halfway between Raleigh and the Crystal Coast and is located at the intersection of Highway 58 and Highway 70 in Kinston. Nine buildings house classrooms, labs, administrative and faculty offices, and study areas, along with a gymnasium, library, museum, auditorium, snack bar, and bookstore. The college serves approximately 3,000 curriculum students annually. The Graphic Arts & Imaging Technology department is housed in the Business Technologies Unit, Building 6, on the northeast side of the campus. The GAIT department is located on the first floor and shares space with the college printing department. The department consists of two computer graphics labs, graphic design studio and lecture room, conventional and electronic prepress area, screen printing area, and offset press and bindery area.
