What is LancerMAIL?

LancerMAIL is a new email system for students at Lenoir Community College. It is a partnership between Lenoir Community College and Microsoft, using Microsoft's Windows Live. LancerMAIL replaces our current student email system, Campus Cruiser. You will need your LancerLOGIN to access LancerMAIL.

Your LancerLOGIN is used to log into Moodle, LancerMAIL, LancerALERT, and WebAdvisor. Your LancerLOGIN allows you to have one username and password to access all of your Lancer online resources.

If you've logged in to LancerMAIL before and you don't need any help click the Take Me To LancerMAIL button to the right.

If you'd like to access this directly, type in mail.office365.com in your web browser. This will take you to the LancerMAIL login page.

I don't know my LancerLOGIN, where do I start?

If you don't know your LancerLOGIN, click the Need My LancerLOGIN button to the right and follow the instructions to activate your account and login to LancerMAIL.

Will my current college email address change?

Yes. Your new college email address will be your LancerLOGIN ID@lancers.lenoircc.edu. For example: if your name is John Doe and your LancerLOGIN is jmdoe99, your new college email address will be jmdoe99@lancers.lenoircc.edu

How do I access college email?

On the lower left side of LCC's homepage you will find a link to LancerMAIL.

What are the requirements for using the new college email on the web?

In order to use the complete set of features and get the best possible experience from your new email account, you need to use one of the recommended web browsers: Internet Explorer 7 (IE7) or higher for Windows, Mozilla Firefox 3.0.1 or higher for Windows or Mac, or Safari 3.1 or higher for Mac OS X. Please note that even though these browsers are considered supported, there are still a few options which are NOT accessible from browsers other than Internet Explorer 7 or 8 - including accessing the Junk E-mail settings in the new email system. For more information on exactly what features are available in which browser, see Microsoft's list of Supported Browsers and Operating Systems.
