Lenoir Community College JOSHUA GRADY RECEIVES
MCGRAW-HILL SCHOLARSHIP
Joshua Grady Recieves McGraw-Hill Scholarship

Lenoir Community College student Joshua Grady of Kinston is the recipient of the McGraw-Hill scholarship. The $1000 scholarship will go towards his educational endeavors.

A double major, Grady is studying Computer Information Technology and Networking Technology and holds a grade point average of 4.0. His instructor, Gail Edwards, Computer Information Technology Chair, nominated him for the scholarship. Grady was selected for the scholarship by a team of members from the North Carolina Computer Instructors Association from a pool of students submitted by instructors from NC community colleges.

“Ever since I was very young, I have had an interest in computers and other various kinds of technology,” Grady said. “ I have always felt very natural in working on computers, and during my time at Lenoir Community College, it has only solidified my decision.”

“My choice of pursuing a double major has been the best choice I could have ever made, and this scholarship will help me to continue those studies.”

Grady will be graduating this semester, but plans to complete his networking degree and continue on to a college that has not been determined.
"Joshua has been a great work study and student,” Edwards said. “He is going to be sorely missed on campus.”
