Lenoir Community College SECOND ANNUAL CASINO NIGHT SET FOR
JANUARY 31, 2014
Lucy Marston

Get ready to try your hand at this year’s Lenoir Community College Foundation Casino Night from 7 to 10:30 p.m. Jan. 31 in the Culinary Arts Center at LCC!  Ten local “celebrities” have agreed to make sure this year’s event is a hit yet again.  Celebrities will include Kinston’s own Lucy Marston, Director of the Kinston-Lenoir County Visitors’ Center, who is ecstatic to be included in this year’s celebrity line-up.  Lucy and her husband, John, have been vital to the success of the Foundation Scholarship Program and have always valued education.  The proceeds from this event will benefit students through the LCC Foundation Scholarship Program.

Marston is currently on the board of the Lenoir Memorial Hospital Foundation and has formerly served on the boards of the Kinston Rotary Club, Kinston Community Council for the Arts, and various other local boards that promote both commerce and education in Kinston and Lenoir County.  When asked why the LCC Foundation has meant so much to her, Marston said that “Everything the Foundation does is always done so beautifully, and it’s for the best cause one can think of – education.”

Tables open at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $50 per person.  Tickets and sponsorship opportunities are available and may be purchased by contacting Timothy Maddox, Interim Events Coordinator in the LCC Foundation office at 252-233-6843, or by email at tdmaddox07@lenoircc.edu.
