CISCO Students at Work

Recently, the Lenoir Community College Cisco Networking Concepts class volunteered to complete networking and computer related tasks at Hull Road Free Will Baptist Church. While there, students implemented an extension to the church's existing wireless network. They also repaired and installed computers for the children's church.  The Networking Concepts course is the first in the Discovery series of classes offered through the Cisco Networking Academy at LCC. This class concentrates on networking for homes and small businesses. The Academy program has been in use by LCC since 2000. Since its inception, the Networking Technology department has trained more than 300 students for Networking related jobs.
