Allstate agency owner Chris Humphrey received the Allstate Agency Hands in the Community Award for his commitment to helping others and community service. Because of Humphrey’s outstanding volunteerism, The Allstate Foundation awarded a $1,000 grant to the Lenoir Community College Foundation, where Humphrey is a board member and volunteer.
“Chris is a great supporter of the LCC Foundation and to the College," LCC President Dr. Brantley Briley said. "We appreciate his commitment to education."
Allstate, its agents, and employees have a proud history of putting their good hands to work in supporting North Carolina communities, promoting volunteerism and providing financial resources to enable local organizations to help others. Now in its 61st year, The Allstate Foundation has given more than $300 million in financial contributions to communities around the country and in 2012, gave $50,000 in North Carolina as part of the Allstate Agency Hands in the Community Program.

The Allstate Foundation awards $2 million every year to nonprofit organizations across the country in honor of dedicated Allstate agency owners who give back to their communities through outstanding volunteerism. To be eligible for nomination, Allstate agency owners must volunteer, mentor, or lead a nonprofit of their choice.
