Lenoir Community College MATTHEW ZINNI TO PERFORM IN BROADWAY AND BEYOND

Matthew Zinni will make his first appearance in Lenoir Community College’s 15th annual Broadway and Beyond at 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 20 in the Waller Auditorium.

Doors will open at 6:30 p.m.  Admission at the door is $7. The program is under the musical direction of Carolyn Crossland. Crossland and Rick Vernon will serve as co-hosts for the evening.

He will be performing “Do You Love Me” from Fiddler on the Roof.  He will be singing the role of Teyve a poor milkman and Golde, his wife.

He is a regular performer at the New Bern Civic Theatre as well Rivertowne Theatre. His roles have included, William Barfée in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Secretary Thomson in 1776, Big Jule in Guys and Dolls, and the Wizard in the Wizard of Oz.

He has been involved with community theatre after he graduated from East Carolina University in 2008. Zinni currently works as a data manager at Fleet Readiness Center East, and is engaged to his fiancée Marissa.
